Community Air Quality Monitoring
As the public becomes more aware of air quality we have seen a dramatic increase over the last several years in the number of community monitoring networks in the USA. As such, we have had the privilege to work with truly grass roots projects supported and funded primarily by citizens with some projects for larger programs funded by local industry and charitable organizations.
We built several networks to measure O3, NO2, Particulate Matter, SO2 and total VOCs. These projects have been in response to various sources including: highway construction, power generation facilities being built, oil and gas drilling/refining.
